Alongside our partners at TAG Cambridge IT Skills Center, ITEC offers a comprehensive IT skills certificate which provides students with the ability to use Information Technology effectively when using specific software applications.
This course is geared primarily towards students, employees and trainees who wish to develop their practical IT skills and receive recognition for basic IT competence they acquire such as confidently using word processing programs, managing files and internet skills.
Modules covered by the program include:
• An Introduction to IT
• Using Microsoft Windows
• Word Processing using Microsoft Word
• Spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
• Electronic Communication using Microsoft Internet Explorer
• Presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Databases using Microsoft Access
The Diploma certificate is issued by the University of Cambridge and is recognised by the UAE’s Ministry of Education as well as a host of other international organisations. Assessments are flexible and can be taken throughout the year. Exams are corrected electronically and results appear immediately after the end of the exam on the candidate’s screen.
